Building and Construction Industry Security of Payment Act 2002 (Vic), s 18
Calculate the deadline for lodging an adjudication application with an Authorised Nominating Authority (ANA) under the Victorian SOP Act 2002. The deadline depends on which scenario applies.
Scenario A (s 18(1)): Payment schedule received — 10 Vic business days after receiving the schedule.
Scenario B (s 18(2)): No payment schedule — serve notice within 20 Vic business days of the due date (s 18(2)(a)), then apply within 10 Vic business days after the respondent's 5-business-day schedule period.

Victorian Business Day Rules
Under the Vic SOP Act, a "business day" is any day that is not a Saturday, Sunday, Victorian public holiday, or any day in the period from 22 December to 10 January (inclusive). This is different from NSW, which only excludes 27–31 December.
